PANO – Vietnam and India have signed a memorandum of understanding on preserving and upgrading the My Son World Heritage Site, according to the Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
According to the agreement, India will fund US$ 2.5 million (equal to VND 54 billion) to preserve and upgrade the groups of towers in the UNESCO-recognized relic site.
India will also send its technical experts and provide equipment to assist Vietnam in carrying out the five-year project.
