Hai Phong: Opening a space of singing at communal house

(Cinet)- On January 14, Hai Phong ca tru singing club introduced a program of singing at the communal house.

Singing at the communal house is a kind of performing art relating to worshipping gods. In the past, VanLang people heldXoansinging performancein the spring towelcomethenewyear. TherearethreeformsofXoan singing as the worship singing to commemorate Hung Kingsand village guardian gods; the ritual singing to pray for good crops, good health; and thefestive singing – a form of love duet.

To open the singing program at the communal house, the club is taught by artisan Nguyen Phu De with many experiences and knowledge of the communal house. The space of performance is built according to a form of the ancient age.

The program was opened by some efforts of some artisans in Hai Phong ca tru singing club and artisan Nguyen Phu De.

Up to now, the program is opened in Hai Phong city.
