(Cinet) – Many cultural activities will be held in Viet Nam during 2015 to mark the 40th anniversary of Viet Nam-Germany diplomatic ties, according to the German Embassy in Viet Nam.
During this year, the embassy will coordinate with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organise concerts, painting exhibitions, fairs and film screenings in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and many other localities nationwide.
The embassy said the highlight of the year will be a German cultural festival scheduled for March 28. The festival will feature concerts by German band Raggabund, gastronomy exchanges and seminars. It will be followed by a German film festival in September. The events aim to give the public a panorama of Germany and promote the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Germany is Viet Nam’s largest partner in the European Union. The European country is also the 22nd biggest investor in Viet Nam.
