Moscow – Cam Ranh direct air route launched to serve Russian visitors

NDO – The Russian airline Transaero launched a direct air route connecting Domodedovo in Moscow with Cam Ranh in Khanh Hoa on November 1 to serve the growing traveling demands of Russian visitors to Vietnam.

The first Transaero flight numbered UN 9563 by Boeing 767 aircraft carrying 220 Russian passengers landed at Cam Ranh international airport this noon, opening the two-way air route from Domodedovo to Cam Ranh.

All passengers in this flight stay in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province.

The airline will fly every 10 days with a flight time of ten hours and 30 minutes. The flights will depart from Domodedovo airport at 10pm (Russia time) and the return flights will take off from Cam Ranh airport at 1:10 pm (Vietnam time).

Since earlier this year, Khanh Hoa provice has received more than 685,000 foreign arrivals including 185,000 visitors from Russia, an increase of nearly 60% compared to the same period last year.
