More than 200 paintings, sculptures and graphic images depicting the world of the armed forces, revolutionary war and the cause of national construction and defence are on display at an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on November 3.


The event is being held by the General Department of Politics in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts to mark the 70th founding anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army.


Works reflect the glorious tradition of Vietnam People’s Army; praise the spirit of patriotism, willingness of struggling and sacrifice for national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity during wars and the national cause for construction and defence.


The exhibition also contributes to educating the spirit of patriotism, the self-reliant will of Vietnamese people and soldiers, consolidate solidarity with international friends and encourages people of all walks of life, especially the armed forces to improve awareness and responsibility in national construction and defence./.
