PANO – An artistic exchange, themed “For boats going to far-sea”, in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and 25th anniversary of the whole people’s defence festive day, will take place on November 21st in Hanoi, the organizers announced at a press conference on November 17th.

Jointly organsied by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Border Guard Command, the event aims to raise people’s awareness of national seas and islands, promote national patriotism, and confirm undauntedness and readiness to defend national sovereignty over national seas and islands.
The program will also honour army units, localities and businesses who have proveded great support to far-sea fishermen, as well as disseminate new policies on promoting production while protecting national sovereignty.
At the program, the organizers will present 1,300 gifts to needy fishermen.
