VGP – Viet Nam-India trade turnover reached US$4.258 billion over the past nine months of the year, US$324 million higher than the same period in 2013.
According to the Viet Nam Customs, Viet Nam’s total exports and imports to India attained US$1.766 billion and US$2.492 billion, respectively.
Viet Nam mainly exports phones and spare parts (US$617 million), machines, equipment and tools (nearly US$174 million), computers, electronics and accessories (US$116 million) and rubber (more than US$108 million) to India.
The nation imports seafood (US$280 million), machines, equipment and tools (US$238 million), cotton (US$232 million) and medicine (US$200 million) from India.
In 2013, the two-way trade turnover topped US$5.234 billion, of which US$2.353 billion came from Viet Nam’s exports to India.
