(VOV) -One hundred couples clad in traditional wedding attire tied the knot in a grand mass wedding ceremony at the Melisa Centre, Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City on October 15.
Before the spectacle, the brides and grooms-to-be held a wreath laying ceremony at the monument of late President Ho Chi Minh. They then travelled by electric bicycle across the city to the mass wedding.
The couples were public employees, teachers, and workers from the city and surrounding provinces, organizers of the event announced.
They were gifted ATM cards worth VND2 million each, rings, floral arrangements, cars, photo shoot and video recording services. They were also awarded wedding outfits, a honeymoon trip and a training course aimed at improving family skills.
