Nhan Dan Online – Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi received documents and artefacts on the life and career of the national beloved leader, presented by individuals and collectives, on August 21.
Prominent among the donations was a book entitled ‘Reorganising the Working Manner‘ written by the former President. The book, first published in 1948, was presented by Nguyen Huu Duyen, a former official in Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province.
Other items included an invitation letter to the former President’s funeral and copies of the letter he sent to General Tran Tu Hoa on December 19, 1945.
According to Acting Director of the Museum, Nguyen Thuy Duc, since August 8, 2013, the museum has collected 25 original documents, photos and artefacts relating to Uncle Ho, as well as received more than 1,000 files of documents, records and memoirs of over 20 witnesses on the revolutionary life of the former President.
The documents help to enrich the museum’s collection and facilitate research on the country’s great father.
