Nhan Dan Online – Hai Au Aviation Company received two Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX seaplanes at Noi Bai International Airport on the morning of August 21, enabling it to offer the first-ever seaplane tours in Vietnam.
The two aircraft were imported from the US Cessna Aircraft Company and include 14 seats with wide windows for passengers to enjoy the beautiful scenery from a height of 150-3,000 metres.
Hai Au Aviation will launch its first flights between Hanoi and Ha Long this September which will take only 30 minutes, compared with four hours by bus.
The company plans to expand its flights to the south in late 2014 and early 2015, linking Ho Chi Minh City with tourist sites in Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, An Giang, Con Dao, Phu Quoc and other neighbouring countries.
CEO of Hai Au Aviation Company, Luong Hoai Nam said that the seaplane service is expected to offer tourists a special experience never seen in Vietnam.
