(VOV) – A plane transporting 38 Vietnamese workers fleeing the violence in Libya left Cairo on August 18 destined for the homeland on Egypt Air flight MS-960.

They will transit through Bangkok International Airport and return to Hanoi on two separate Vietnam Airlines flights arriving in Hanoi at 7.50pm and 8.45pm the same day.
Among the 38 workers, 33 entered Egypt via a land route passing through the Salloum Border Gate on August 16 while five others escaped Libya through neighbouring Tunisia and flew to Cairo on August 17.
The Vietnam Embassy provided significant support to the workers during their stay in Cairo. The Embassy reports all are in good spirits and health.
