(CPV) – A training course providing knowledge about border and islands to 200 representatives from 20 southern provinces and cities is taking place in the southern city of Vung Tau. The event is being held by the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training. Participants are leaders of provincial party committee commissions of popularization and education, educational managers, teachers of history and geography. They are being provided basic updated information about Party policies and State laws about national sovereignty over sea, islands and border. Addressing at the training course, deputy head of the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education Bui The Duc said that marine economics and sovereignty over seas and islands, the insurance of peace, security and stability in the region has not only been hot news but also become a concerned issue by each student, teachers and Vietnamese people. Mr. Duc added that the issue of borer, sea and island really needs deeper care of educational managers, teachers of history and geography. Therefore, the training course will provide basic and deep knowledge about the concerned issue, contributing to cultivating the love and passion for the homeland’s sea, islands and border among Vietnamese people./.
