Nhan Dan Online – The 2014 Quang Binh International Trade Fair kicked off in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh province on July 24, with the participation of a large number of domestic and international businesses.
The fair features 400 booths of 170 trade organisations and enterprises across the country, 12 booths of businesses from three Lao provinces and 20 booths of Thailand companies.
The enterprises brought a series of high-quality products such as garments and textiles, processed food, wooden furniture, fine and handicrafts, car and household goods.
The 2014 Quang Binh International Trade Fair has gradually confirmed its important role in linking Vietnamese and international economic and trade organisations, opening up opportunities to intensify investment, exports, trade exchanges and technology transfer.
The event, one of the activities under the framework of the 2014 National Trade Promotion Programme, runs until July 30. Organised by the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the fair aims to promote economic co-operation and create co-operation in the East-West Economic Corridor.
