HCM City expos target latest ‘Green Power’ technology

(VOV) – More than 100 domestic and foreign companies are introducing their latest technologies in energy saving & green power at two expositions which kicked off in HCM City on July 16, encouraging consumers to conserve and use renewable energy.


Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Tran Tuan Anh emphasised that the event is highly regarded by firms operating in the energy sector as one of the premiere attractions of the industry.


Deputy Minister Anh urged relevant agencies to implement programmes providing incentives and preferential policies, encouraging them to invest in Vietnam and fully tap opportunities to develop production.



Nguyen Phuong Dong, deputy director of HCM City’s Department of Industry and Trade in turn said that the event focuses on introducing the latest in advanced technologies and energy saving solutions and the use of green energy.


This will help promote the development of new energy sources, environmentally friendly renewal energy and contribute to raising public awareness about the effective use of saving energy, he said.


In addition, the four-day event plays a crucially important role in supporting both local and foreign businesses locate cooperation partners, expand markets, and promote production and business activities in the Vietnamese market.
