NHA TRANG (VNS) – Ha Noi 1 returned to top the table in the National Women’s Football Championship after a brilliant 5-1 victory over HCM City yesterday in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.
The defending champions now have 20 points from nine matches. They have two points more than the runners-up Phong Phu Ha Nam, who will play THG Thai Nguyen today.
HCM City could only score once in the 32nd minute before witnessing the opposition score goal after goal in both halves of the match.
In the last round next week, Ha Noi 1 will play Viet Nam Coal and Minerals, who yesterday beat Ha Noi 2 2-0 in a later match.
The win helped Viet Nam Coal and Minerals replace HCM City in third place with 12 points. – VNS
