(VOV) -A documentary on Agent Orange (AO) was broadcast live on television from Quang Nam province on July 5, aiming to provide viewers an complete picture of the AO disaster in Vietnam.

The event was co-organised by the Quang Nam provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and the local Radio and Television Station.
Duringthe programme, participants interacted with AO victims who demonstrated outstanding strength and courage to overcome their special circumstances to live a normal life and integrate into the community.
Through the event, citizens across the country also donated VND560 million to help AO victims in the province.
There are currently 35,000 people affected by AO in Quang Nam province, with thousands of victims having died from AO related complications.
Since early this year, the local government has mobilized more than VND7 billion for vocational training for the victims, creating conditions for trainees to have steady jobs in the future.
