Participants focused on discussing how to better the supply chain of the hi-tech supporting industry in the city.
Experts from Japan and the Republic of Korea, and representatives of technology groups, shared policy ideas to improve the sector in developed countries and discussed strategies to better promote their products in the Vietnamese market.
However, they noted that material resources to serve product localisation have yet to meet hi-tech development demands.
SHTP deputy head Le Bich Loan said that for the long term, the State should put forth more preferential policies targeting enterprises operating in this field and provide them with more assistance.
On this occasion, the organising board also held a fair for participating businesses to introduce their products and seek partners.-VNA
