(Cinet)- The MOCST organized a seminar to direct the Direction and the Organization Board in order to organize the 6th festival of culture, sports and tourism in the Khmer ethnic group in Hau Giang on May 29. Deputy Minister Ho Anh Tuan attended.
The festival is an activity of culture, sports and tourism for Khmer ethnic group every three years. This year, the festival is organized in Hau Giang themed ” Culture, Sports and Tourism in the Khmer ethnic group to honour, keep and develop culture of the Khmer. From that, the festival contributes to develop economy and take care of material and spiritual life of the group.
Accordingly, the festival will be opened in Hoa Binh square, Vi Thanh city, Hau Giang to broadcast live on television. The festival will consist of some troupes from some provinces and cities of the Southern Vietnam. Many activities comprise Arts-For-All festival, fashion show, traditional festival and games; cuisine culture and exhibition of the Khmer in a period of integration and development.
