Lai Thieu is a land of ceramics

Lai Thieu, about 20 kilometers from downtown HCMC, is a strip along the Saigon River. Apart from many fruitful orchards, the place is well known as a pottery craft village.

The place took shape in the late nineteenth century in Binh Duong Province and is still busy on June 2. Visitors to the place can easily see many pottery trucks at the wharfs where the ceramic products are uploaded for transport to Mekong Delta provinces.

Tourists can taste many tropical fruits in the garden and learn more about the craft and life of craftsmen.
