Cutting ribbon to open the exhibition



As many of 55 art works by 50 artists affirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos are on display at an exhibition which opened at 29 Hang Bai street in Hanoi on June 18.



Among the artists are such famous painters and sculptors as Thanh Chuong, Dang Xuan Hoa, Dinh Quan, Pham Luan, Dao Hai Phong, Le Tri Dung and Hoang Phuong Vy.


The exhibition shows patriotism, conveying a peaceful message to people nationwide and peace-lovers around the world, and affirms the strength of Vietnam’s great national unity and the country’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.


The event is being held by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition in coordination with the Vietnam University of Fine Arts.


It will run until the end of this month./.
