(Cinet)- Many activities to celebrates a 124th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19) has been taken place nationwide.
In Ho Chi Minh city, tributes and incense will be used to honour President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh city Museum on May 19.
Mass art performances to celebrate the anniversary will be held among staff in departments, agencies and other locations in districts.
An artistic performance to celebrate the event will also be held in the city during the evening of May 18. Children in the city will perform songs about Uncle Ho on the evening of May 17.
In Quang Ngai, a seminar on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example in ethics was organized for May 15. As many as 13 reports were presented at the seminar, focusing on President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology about personal responsibility and the responsibilities of civil servants and Party members at present.
Three houses of President Ho Chi Minh’s neighbours in Nam Dan district of central Nghe An Province have been restored to allow visitors a chance to get a better idea of Uncle Ho’s childhood community.
