VND459 million donated to “Cow Bank”

To date, Red Cross Society (RCS) levels in the province have mobilized philanthropists, organizations, and unions to donate VND459 million to the program “Cow Bank“.

Kinh Mon district RCS assisted disadvantaged families with the most cows (6); Tu Ky and Thanh Ha district RCSs offered 5 and 4 cows, respectively.

The RCSs of the districts of Nam Sach, Thanh Mien, Binh Giang, and Ninh Giang were yet to well perform the program or support poor households with breeding cows.

The program “Cow Bank”, launched in May 2013 by the RCS, aims to call on the whole society to join hands to help poor households have means of production.
