(Cinet)- Images of Viet Nam captured in photos, newspapers and films will go on display at an exhibition in France from April 26 to May 03.
The event, part of the celebrations to mark 40 years of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and France, aimed to promote multi-faceted relations between the two countries.
It will span eight themes, from Vietnam-France relations, French architecture in Vietnam and Vietnamese sea and islands, to Vietnam’s integration and development, traditional craft villages in Vietnam, traditional festivals, Vietnamese cuisine, and Vietnamese press.
Organisers have selected more than 200 photos, about 400 publications, and nearly 100 documentaries for the event.
The film week is expected to help French and international friends better understand about Vietnam, its land and people, as well as the strategic partnership between Vietnam and France.
The exhibition will be held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnamese Embassy in France.
