In the morning January 14th, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment held a Steering committee meeting of the project “Prevention and management of invasive forest exotic species in production and protection forests of Southeast Asia” to review the project performances in 2013 and set out on orientation in implementing the project in the year of 2014.
At the meeting, Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Nhan, Director of Project Management Board presented the main results achieved, including the support to strengthen legal framework and national policies on management of invasive exotic species, support to develop, revise, finalize and submit the Inter ministerial Circular No. 27/TTLT-BTNMT-BNNPTNT, on providing criteria for determination of invasive exotic species and promulgating the list of invasive exotic species which was enacted in December 26th 2013 and the Draft Technical risk assessment guidelines for invasive exotic species in quarantine, …
