(Cinet)- Vietnamese people will have the opportunity to enjoy the classic, excellent films of Russia in mid-May on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of “Mosfilm”.
Mosfilm films will be sceened in Vietnam including: “White Tiger” is a 2012 Russian action film directed by Karen Shakhnazarov. The film is based on the novella Tankist, ili “Belyy tigr” (The Tank Crewman, or “the White Tiger”) by Russian novelist Ilya Boyashov; “Ivan’s Childhood” is a 1962 Soviet film directed by Andrei Tarkovsky.The film tells the story of orphan boy Ivan and his experiences during World War II; “Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears” by Valentin Chernykh;ect.
All these films have been restored, digitized and translated into Vietnamese. “Mosfilm Week” will take place from May 20-28 in Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
The “Mosfilm” studio is the largest cinema production in Europe. Today it is the only studio in Russia, which is fully consistent with international standards and provides a full film production cycle. There are 15 film studios , studio tone , apple garden, duplex ponds, park, museum, natural scenery opencast “Old Moscow“, a hotel and much more located on the territory. Mosfilm has been celebrating its 90th birthday with a series of retrospective showings and other celebrations. |
