Nhan Dan Online – The Tan Dai Tien Co., Ltd broke ground on April 12 on the Tuy Phong Industrial Zone (IZ) in the central province of Binh Thuan.

The facility will be built on a 150 hectare site located in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, with total investment of VND300 billion (US$14.1 million).

The zone prioritises investment in salt-based processing, electronics, electrics, information technology, medicinal products, medical equipment, building materials, interior decoration, manufacturing and assembling.

The Tuy Phong IZ is conveniently located in terms of road, rail, water and air transport. It sits near the National Highway 1A and the Vinh Hao Railway Station and is just 6km far from the Vinh Tan Seaport and 100km away from Khanh Hoa province’s Cam Ranh International Airport.

Due for completion in December, 2017, the IZ is expected to create jobs for thousands of local labourers and promote the development of other trade and service activities, contributing to accelerating the province’s economic growth and increasing the local budget revenues.

On this occasion, the Tan Dai Tien Co., Ltd – the IZ’s investor – presented VND50 million (US$2,350) to Vinh Hao commune’s ‘Fund for the Poor’.
