April 3, 2014 – The Ministry of Home Affairs issued the decision on allocated 500 educated young people to 163 districts in 2013-2020; 15 out of these 600 officials sent to Quang Nam Province.
Accordingly, 15 voluntary young graduates allocated to Quang Nam work in the sectors of office administration and statistics, land management, agriculture and environment, justice and civil status, cultural and social affairs, and financial management. They will serve local government in the mountainous districts of Tay Giang, Phuoc Son, Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Dong Giang, Nam Giang, some coastal districts of Nui Thanh, Thang Binh, Duy Xuyen, and Tam Ky City.
The project of sending 600 educated young people to poor communes was ratified in January 2011 and put into effect in April 2011. This project aims to boost local development in disadvantaged regions with educated energetic staffs, develop young human resource for the governmental sector, and complement policies on encouraging young civil servants.
