(Cinet)- Vietnam officially organized some activities on International Day of Happiness. With a slogan “Share and love“, International Day of Happiness sent a message to Vietnamese people: Love and sharing contribute to bring a happiness for yourself, family and community.
On June, 2012, the UN declared to select March 20 to celebrate International Day of Happiness with a pledge that it is a meaning day for community. 193 participating countries pledge to try for increasing more quality for life and building a sustainable and happy society.
The day was celebrated all for the very first time in March 2013 with 40 organizations coming together to support the global Day of Happiness campaign coordinated by Action for Happiness. In 2014 an extended partnership of organizations is joining forces to support the day.
People are now recognizing that ‘progress’ should be about increasing human happiness and wellbeing, not just growing the economy at all costs. All 193 United Nations member states have adopted a resolution calling for happiness to be given greater priority and March 20 has been declared as the International Day of Happiness – a day to inspire action for a happier world.
With a theme “Independence-Freedom-Happiness, Vietnam continue to build a sustainable society and happy family. Accordingly, the PM approved for Project on organizing some activities on International Day of Happiness and participating into International Day of Happiness on March 20 every year.
Organizing some activities on March 20 aims to enhance more awareness of some levels, some agencies, organizations, individuals, families about the Day.
