Math Olympiad held to select students to learn in Russia Six students selected in the first contest in 2013 are in the process of language learning in Russia, which lasts one year.

The Department of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the Association of Universities of the Russian Federation, and the provincial Youth Union on the afternoon of March 10 co-organized the 2014 Math Olympiad at Hoang Van Thu Senior High School (Hai Duong city) to select students to learn in Russia.

234 contestants, 12th graders of senior high schools in Hai Duong province, completed the test in 60 minutes. The exam papers will be sent to Russia for the Association of Universities of the Russian Federation to mark and announce the results. Six students with the highest scores will receive scholarships worth a total of USD25,000 to study at universities there.

This is the second time the contest has been held in Hai Duong. Six students selected in the first contest in 2013 are in the process of language learning in Russia, which lasts one year.
