Intensified cold air to cause extreme cold

Cold air will directly affect Hai Duong province on the evening of March 20, according to the provincial Hydro-meteorological Center.

Due to the effects of the intensified cold air in combination with the operation of aloft westerlies, many places in the province will record heavy showers with thunderstorms in some areas.

There will be northeasterly winds of level 2, then 3 or 4.

The intensified cold air spell will cause the temperature in the province’s areas to drop low. Extreme cold is likely to occur from March 21 – 23. The lowest temperature will range from 11 – 13 degrees Celsius and the highest, from 14 – 16 degrees Celsius.
