As the sixth seed, Hoang Nam directly entered the second round, facing Sharmal Dissanayake, the 258th player in the ITF Junior Ranking.

Defeating the Sri Lankan rival, Hoang Nam will face the 9th seed Bogdan Bobrov (Russia) in the third round.

This is the champion of the ITF Junior G2 Tournament in Donetsk (Ukraine) in February. Bobrov currently ranks the world’s 62nd, only four ranks behind Hoang Nam.

If Hoang Nam win this game, he is likely in the top 50 junior players of the world.
