Tree planting festival in Dung Quat EZ
The PPC Vice Chairman Pham Nhu So on February 11 launched the New Year tree planting festival in Van Tuong Urban Area, Dung Quat Economic Zone.
On this event, 100 green trees were planted by the provincial leaders and Dung Quat EZ’s cadres along the Road No.3 in Van Tuong Urban Area.
As planned, thousands of green trees will be planted in Van Tuong Urban Area in 2014.
Earlier, on February 02, the Military Command Committee of Ly Son district also launched a spring tree planting festival to respond to the project of protective forest plantation on Ly Son Island. Soldiers and locals on the island planted nearly 200 trees on hills and mountains in An Vinh commune. Under the project scheme, nearly 20 hectares of forest have been planted covering several bare hills and mountains.
