Nhan Dan Online – The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD) launched a project themed ‘Ten months – Ten documentaries’ on February 21.


In the next ten months, from now to December 2014, the project aims to assist the production and screening of ten documentaries by young movie producers between 18 and 35 years old.


Contestants should send their curriculum vitae and a 150-word document detailing their film’s concept to the TPD office at 51 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoan Kiem District in Hanoi. The documentaries should focus on social issues such as gender equality, environment and traffic congestion.


Ten selected entries will be announced on April 14. After they are completed, which is to happen by December, the documentaries will be then shown to Vietnamese audiences and will receive a chance to compete at domestic and international film competitions.


The shortlisted producers will also have an opportunity to participate in a training workshop to collect experience on each step of the film production process: shooting, production, editing, sound editing and subtitling.
