Deadly collision kills one, injures two

LAM DONG (VNS)— A man was killed and two others were injured after a freight truck carrying milk collided with a truck on National Highway 20 in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong yesterday.

The collision occurred in the Di Linh District section of the highway and caused the tanker to fall 70 metres down a cliff, killing a 35-year-old man, from the central province of Binh Dinh.

The truck driver and the driver’s assistant were rushed to the nearby district hospital. The case is under investigation. — VNS
