Danish Embassy to open Vietnamese painting exhibition

(Cinet)- The Denmark-Vietnam Cultural Development and Exchange Fund and Danish Embassy has officially announced the launch of an exhibition project to promote Vietnamese paintings at Danish Embassy.

The embassy on February 12 issued a press release inviting Vietnamese artists nationwide to send their paintings to 17 – 19 Dien Bien Phu Street from now to February 28, 2014. Each artist sends a maximum of 3 works, image size 20×30 cm and information accompanying each photo.

Information accompanying each photo including: picture name, year, size, material, inspiration, message that artist want to convey through a picture; name and address to contact including email, phone number, postal address of the artist.

The Danish Embassy project to promote Vietnamese paintings was set up in 2012. The selected works had been exhibited in the opening of first project in January 2013,the second in August 2013.

The works will be chosen by a board of selectors led by Danish Ambassador John Nielsen.

The embassy will hold exhibition to introduce the works and their authors to its partners and the Vietnamese publicfrom March to July, 2014.
