Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Quyen and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hien encourage contractors
The first phase of the province’s North – South road of km 9+400 – km 10+224 is 8.8km long with over VND823 billion of successfully bid value for the construction.
The work will be carried out by a joint venture of 319 Corporation, Bridge Construction 75 JSC., Investment and Construction 18 JSC., and DDK Investment and Construction Group JSC.
The designed road satisfies the standards of a 2nd grade plain road with a designed speed of 80 km/ h and width of 24m.
The drainage, intersections, side-roads, bus stops, lighting, and traffic safety are synchronously designed and arranged.
Cuu An bridge on the route, made of prestressed reinforced concrete and normal reinforced concrete, has seven spans with a length of 333.46m.
The work construction is expected to last 27 months.
Addressing the ground breaking ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Hien stressed the great significance and important role of the province’s North – South road.
The completed work will link localities and highways in the province, contributing to promoting the provincial and regional socio-economic development.
Mr. Hien required related departments and branches and Ninh Giang district to urgently complete the site clearance in Hong Duc, Tan Phong, and An Duc communes in February 2014.
The Transport Department should regularly inspect and monitor the work construction, grasp and remove difficulties and obstacles during the construction process.
The joint venture of contractors should concentrate all resources, deploy the work construction as scheduled, and ensure committed quality.
