Bac Giang invests VND42 billion to develop community tourism

(CPV) – The Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee has issued a decision approving a project to develop community tourism in the province during the 2014-2020 period with a total investment capital of nearly VND 42 trillion.

The project sets the target of building community tourism into attractive tourist products, contributing to preserving and promoting cultural value and helping people reduce poverty and speeding up the development of the local tourism sector.

In addition, concrete tasks on training human resources for this type of tourism, activities to support material facilities such as investing in infrastructure and electricity equipment are emphasized in the project.

The project will include two phases. During the first phase from 2014 to 2016, Bac Giang will build a community tourism model in An Lac commune, Son Dong district, and the model will be expanded to some selected potential districts of Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Yen The during the second 2016-2020 phase./.
