At the end of November, Phu Yen Newspaper’s leaders, Vietnam Prudential Assurance Company, Women’s Union in Song Hinh district and the Associations in Hai Rieng townlet (Song Hinh district) came to cheer and celebrate the day when Mrs. Nguyen Thi Loan’s family moved into the new house in Quarter 3, Hai Rieng townlet. Being one of the poorest women-households in this mountainous area, Ms. Loan was happy with tears in the eyes and almost speechless. On the day receiving VND10 million, a bike and many gifts to welcome spring donated by Mr. Pham Huu Duc (Chairman of Phu Yen Style Forum) and volunteer students in Tuy Hoa city, student Nguyen Thi Kim Phung (5C grader, Le Van Tam Primary School (Phu Dong ward, Tuy Hoa city) said in tears: My dad died of a traffic accident on the way home from work in the late 2010, when my mother was 3-month pregnant with the third baby. 2 months after the baby was born, my mother had high fever continuously for tumors in her abdomen, she had to go to Cancer hospital in Ho Chi Minh city for treatment”. Their lives depended on her relatives’ help and the ward’s subsidies. The two children continued to go to school thanks to the movement “Helping poor friends to school” launched by Le Van Tam Primary School. “I try my best to learn not to disappoint teachers, friends and the compassion’s kindness.
