The memorial house dedicated to Late Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang in Dong hamlet, Thanh Tung commune (Thanh Mien) introduces historical and cultural traditions of Thanh Tung commune and Thanh Mien district, comrade Nguyen Luong Bang’s life and career, and his feelings for his native land and vice versa.

The memorial house has been adjusted and upgraded many times in both matter and form by Hai Duong Museum.

Hai Duong province in 2008 invested in upgrading the entire house and display content. The revised display outline consisted of three main themes, namely introductions to comrade Nguyen Luong Bang’s native land, family, and childhood; his life and career; Thanh Tung commune’s economic and cultural achievements; and the feelings of the native land for comrade Nguyen Luong Bang.

The collection of additional documents and exhibits, mock-up design, and display arrangement were done with the participation of Nguyen Thi Tuong Van, an official of Ho Chi Minh Museum and also comrade Nguyen Luong Bang’s daughter.

With a daughter’s love for her father and, at the same time, as an official with museum expertise, Tuong Van, along with her colleagues, worked quite responsibly and finished the revision and upgrading of the display content in a short time.

Many valuable documents, objects, and images have been added in both quality and explicative introduction. The display content has been arranged more reasonably, complying with museum speciality. Attention has been paid to the quality of exhibits. Especially, clearer verification of information about comrade Nguyen Luong Bang’s life and career has improved the quality of the house in both matter and form.

The memorial house dedicated to Late Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang is not only the pride of residents of Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district, in particular and Hai Duong people in general but also a place to preserve and bring into play the value of precious cultural legacies on a historic celebrity of the country, like temples worshipping people with great contributions to the people and country, which will be handed down forever.
