On January 22, at the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), Mr. Eivind Archer, Chief Representative of the Nordic Assistance to Vietnam (NAV), visited and wished a happy Tet to the provincial leaders. Mr. Le Truong Luu, Deputy Chairman of the PPC received the delegation.
At the meeting, Mr. Eivind Archer was grateful to the PPC, related departments, and provincial localitiesfor their cooperation and support in facilitating the operation of NAV Office and the implementation of NAV-funded projects in the province in the past time. According to him, following achievements in 2013, NAV will continue to maintain projects for disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and community capacity building in disaster prevention. In addition, they will extend other projects to further support local people in ThuaThienHueProvince.
On behalf of the PPC, Deputy Chairman Luu highly appreciated activities and effects of NAV-funded projects, which have been implemented in Thua Thien Hue in the past time. He hoped that in 2014, activities and cooperation of NAV will be effective and extended. ThuaThienHueProvince will create the most favourable conditions and tightly cooperate with NAV in carrying out their projects in the province. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Deputy Chairman wished Mr. Eivind Archer and his staff good health and success.
