Vietnam International Travel Mart makes calls for environmental protection

The event, scheduled to take place between March 27 and 30, is expected to draw the participation of more than 700 businesses, management agencies, and tour operators from across 47 provinces and cities nationwide and from an additional 25 nations and territories from around the world.

Under the theme of green tourism, travel companies will be responding to the 2030 sustainable development strategy set out by the United Nations, as well as offering a series of promotional programs at the event.

Accordingly, travel businesses will advertise new eco-tourism and agricultural products at the event. Several of the pavilions themselves will be designed out of environmental-friendly materials.
