The flights set to carry the Vietnamese supporters will depart from Hanoi to Dubai at 7:30am on January 24, 2019 and return to Hanoi early in the morning the following day. The national flag carrier will use A350-900 wide-body aircraft for these flights with service quality in accordance with international 4-star standards.
The flights are expected to travel a distance of 5,400 km from Hanoi to Dubai, and carry more than 300 Vietnamese football fans to support the national squad during the AFC Asian Cup 2019 quarterfinals.
Vietnam Airlines, Masan, and Vietravel had previously co-ordinated together to arrange flights for Vietnamese football fans to support the players in the match against Yemen on January 16.
