The first stage of the National Volleyball Championship will kick-off in April with the participation of 21 teams, of both men and women.
They are divided into two groups in each category with the Group As in Yen Bai Province and the Group Bs in Hai Duong Province.
Play-offs on the round robin format will be from April 2 to April 9.
The top teams of each group will then take part in the Hung Vuong Cup from April 14 to April 17 in Phu Tho Province.
The second stage of the tournament is from December 4 to December 11 and destinations will be confirmed later.
The top two squads of both men’s and women’s pools will compete in the final round which will be held from December 15 to December 18.
A total of VND 420 million (US$18,700) will be delivered to top teams with the champions walking away with VND100 million ($4,400).
