Cambodia Culture Week in HCM City

(Cinet)- On the evening of November 09, Ben Thanh theatre, HCM City, the Cambodia Culture Week in Vietnam 2015 officially opened. It is a meaningful event organized by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Cambodia Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.

Addressing at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh Ai affirmed that Vietnam and Cambodia enhanced solidarity relationship between two countries. Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh Ai affirmed the unity, time-treasured friendship and sound neighborliness between Vietnam and Cambodia, saying that bilateral relations have been nourished by generations of leaders and people of both countries, bringing important results in all areas, particularly in culture and the arts.

Secretary of State of the Cambodia Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts Menh Kossony noted that the event would help Cambodia introduce the country’s cultural features and the land and people of Cambodia, evaluating the event as a step forward in cultural exchange between the two countries, contributing to strengthening friendship and neighborliness between the two nations, and consolidating bilateral relations.

The cultural week will last until November 14 in Ho Chi Minh City and Soc Trang province with diverse activities and exhibitions introducing the culture and special arts of Cambodia.
