Ly Hoang Nam has entered the quarter-final of the Egypt F27 Futures Tennis Tournament.
HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam’s number six seed Ly Hoang Nam has entered the quarter-final of the Egypt F27 Futures Tennis Tournament.
Nam defeated Cameron Silverman of the United States 6-3 6-0 yesterday evening (Vietnamese time).
Cameron currently ranks 1082nd in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, 235 places higher than Nam.
Nam will next face Turkish player Baris Erguden, who is ranked 650th in the ATP rankings, in the quarter-final.
Early this year, Nam had reached the Men’s Futures’ quarter-finals held in Thailand and Indonesia. — VNS
