Looking forward eastward from the top of Do reef pass or Quyt slope, visitors can easily find the coconut forest along the white sandy beaches from Xuan Dai bay to Cu Mong pass. This area is projected to become a national tourist zone by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Song Cau town enjoys a coastline of nearly 80km long, with beautiful beaches, bays, belonging to the two main gulfs of Xuan Dai and Cu Mong. Her beauty is like the dreamy fairies waiting to be awakened. Xuan Dai bay is about 130,45km2; in the bay, such islands and peninsulas as Ong Xa islet, Da Mai cape, Tai Ma cape, Mu U islet, Nan islet, Yen islet, Nhat Tu Son… create multiple layers of space, bringing tourists to visit layer by layer.

Dr. Pham Trung Luong, Deputy Director of Research and Development Institute for Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), who has repeatedly surveyed Xuan Dai bay in the role of an expert in tourism planning, let known: Xuan Dai is a wonderful natural gift with unique magnificent beauty. Geographically, the Bay is linked to a cluster of other scenic spots like Dia Reef, O Loan lagoon, forming an exciting cruise line.
According to Mr. Pham Van Bay, Vice Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the tourism development strategy for sea and islands of Vietnam, Xuan Dai bay is approved for its master plan to become the national tourism zone up to 2030 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Funds for building this project was allocated from the budget resources on economic services for preparing the annual planning. At local level, Xuan Dai bay has become the subject of scientific research “Rationale and practical development of sea tourism products for the areas of Xuan Dai bay and vicinities”, which is the basis for development-oriented of tourism products in Xuan Dai bay in particular and Song Cau tourism in general.
