PANO – The first biannual international traditional martial arts championship, Thang Long Cup, will get underway at the My Dinh Indoor Athletics Gymnasium in Hanoi from August 6th to 13th.
The event is co-organized by the Vietnamese Olympic Committee, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Traditional Martial Art Federation.
As scheduled, 36 martial art teams from the host and 50 international teams from 35 countries will compete in five categories with 19 weight classes.
On this occasion, the organizing board will also launch the International Vietnamese Traditional Martial Art Federation on August 8th.
