(VOV) -The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has announced its best players, chosen from the U13 football festival will enjoy an exchange tour of Japan from August 17- 21.
The festival, co-organised by Thieu Nien Tien Phong (Youth Pioneers) Newspaper and The Thao 24h Joint Stock Company, is part of a Yamaha programme, titled “For the Future of Vietnam Football.”
Accordingly, the Vietnamese team is scheduled to face off in 2 or 3 friendly matches against the young Japanese football teams of Azul Claro Numazu.
Players plan to gather in Hanoi from August 9- 16 and practice with each other, under the guidance of experienced coaches to prepare for the friendly matches.
The event gives a chance to young national team to access professional football in Japan, which possesses many similarities with Vietnamese football.
