VGP – The Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Macao-ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce (MAICC) on April 16 co-organized a conference for the two sides’ businesses to seek further cooperation.
As many as 40 Macau top businesses in terms of pharmacy, commerce, finance, service, consultancy, labor, real estate, electricity and construction joined the event.
Viet Nam is seen as an attractive destination with political stability, high economic growth rate and improved infrastructure, said Deputy head of the Foreign Investment Agency Dang Xuan Quang.
The nation has joined a number of Free Trade Agreements and showed the determination in administrative reforms in terms of tax and customs, which help reduce the licensing time for the establishment of a new enterprise.
After the conference, a number of Vietnamese businesses introduced agricultural products such as rice, coffee and fruits to Macau’s enterprises.
