“Xuan Truong Sa” 2015 – deep feelings toward islands Related image(s)
| (CPV) – On February 28th, the 3rd cultural exchange program entitled “Xuan Truong Sa” (Spring on Spratly Islands), took place at the Viet Xo Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi. The event, jointly held by the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper and the Vietnam People’s Navy, was broadcast live on VTV2, HTV1 and ANTV. “Xuan Truong Sa” program was to welcome the New Year 2015 and enhance the spirit, awareness and responsibility of domestic and overseas fellow-citizens, commanders and soldiers in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the nation. The program was attended by comrades: Nguyen Hanh Phuc, member of the Party Central Committee, director of the National Assembly Office; Bui The Duc, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education; Vuong Duy Bien, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Van Cong, Deputy Minister of Transport, Nguyen Viet Thao, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Colonel Nguyen Phong Canh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam People’s Navy and representatives from sectors, departments and companies in Hanoi. Also at the event, the audience enjoined the art performances including songs, full of feeling about the Spratly islands, and love of the country such as “Dat nuoc tron niem vui” (the country with full joy) , “Mua xuan tren dao Truong Sa” (Spring on Spratly Islands), “Gan lam Truong Sa” (The Spratly Islands are so close), “To quoc goi ten minh” (The motherland calls our names, “Dat nuoc nhin tu bien” (Fatherland seen from sea), vv… The songs were performed by many known artists: Meritorious artists Khanh Hoa, Dang Duong, Anh Tho, Tan Nhan, Thuy Dung, the “La do” trio, Artista band, Anh sang and Carmen dance companies… During the program, the audience had chance to exchange with Colonel Nguyen Phong Canh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam People’s Navy; Mr. Nguyen Chi Tuong, a Vietnamese resident in the Czech Republic, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa from Hai Phong City, the mother of soldier Pham Duy Nguyen on the Spratly Islands about their deep sentiments and responsibilities for the islands./. |
